Pereira Jewelry didn’t start in a boardroom. It started with Luis and María Pereira, a husband and wife who left Colombia in 1993 with a dream and a craft. Luis had already spent years mastering the goldsmith’s bench; by now, he’s been a jeweler for more than 35 years.
In 2000, they opened the doors of Pereira Jewelry in Hartford. More than 25 years later, the family business they built is still family-run — and today their children are carrying the legacy forward, turning a single counter into one of New England’s most trusted names in gold and custom jewelry.
Through it all, one thing has never changed: every piece, every repair, every detail still passes through hands the Pereira family knows by name. When you buy from us, you’re not buying from a chain. You’re becoming part of a story that started with two people, one dream, and a promise to do it right.
